STA currently uses the SMARTBOARD to enhance classroom lessons and in our computer lab.  A SMARTBOARD is an interactive whiteboard that connects to a projector and a computer.  Students are able to use their finger as a mouse and touch the SMARTBOARD to interact with websites, programs, and teacher-made applications.  The SMARTBOARD caters to tactile, auditory, and visual learners and is easily integrated into the general curricular subjects.  We currently have 4 SMARTBOARDS at STA - one mounted in our computer lab and 3 that are portable and easily moved from classroom to classroom.
